6.5 Howa 20-HB tonight's results

110 Controlled Chaos, 90 TNT (AE's) and 95 Vmax

So, this evening: no chrony work, just shooting for groups plus it's been a while for my 6.5 Howa (and it was feeling lonely )

I loaded up some 110 Controlled Chaos with my XBR load, using mostly new Hornady's but also 3 Federal 1x's.
I had some Federal AE-90 TNT's (factory) along as well.
I also loaded some 95 Vmaxes but for some reason they did not group very well. So I'll worry about those a little later.

For the 110's and the 90's it was a pretty good day, at least for me!

All results from 100 yds, indoors, 72*F, 328 elev.
with 20" Howa 6.5 Grendel HB.
All shot groups CTC by subtracting the 0.264 from raw measurements.

Controlled chaos,
0.765 (3 shots)
0.358 (3 shots)
0.399 (2 shots)
Federal brass: 0.925 (3 shots)

TNT 90's:
I had one opening series to foul the barrel.
Then (pictured) 0.770 - note this group shoots 2" low from the 110's and 90's, and possibly 5/8 right... I was actually aiming at the top of the target circle.

The 110gr CC with 30.6gr CFE223 behind them was about 2500fps for me COAL of 2.245.

Thanks guys. A2, I do have a cfe load that I like for my 18" AR (the group buy faxon) - 30.8 @ 2466 SD 2, 2.245 Coal...
haven't really tried them over cfe in the HB b/c the xbr one is working well - 29.8 gr, 2635 ft/s.
Gotta be equal time-ish with the Grrrs, otherwise they start getting frowny-faces...
