    6,5 brass

    what is the correct trim length 1.515 or 1.520

    Depends on where you look. I run mine in that neighborhood. New Hornady brass comes at about 15 mark.

    My new Lapua brass is 1.515" and all are within 1 thousandths difference in length. Case dimensions I've seen list the case at 1.515 also.

    As you know, the max case length and trim to length varies depending on where you look. Instead of guessing on which measurement I should use, I purchased a Sinclair Chamber Length Gage for $6.95. Now I trim my brass to fit my rifle not my manuals.

    I'm with mseric on this one. Using that tool my chamber measured at 1.540", so far the only trimming I have done is to uniform the lengths.
