    CFE223 - Reloader 15 - 8208 XBR w/ Velocities

More Chrony testing: Primers, Powder, OAL.

    24" 6.5 Grendel

Elev. 2100 ft, Baro. 26.1, Temp 80*f, Relative Humidity 55%, Cloud Cover 10%,

After compiling these results; I have come to believe that Winchester large rifle primers (for the lack of a better word) SUCK! But they seem to be ok for Forming brass with low charge wts. though.

    Interesting data.

How's the recoil with the heavier charges of CFE-223?

Wondering if the pressure curve masks the performance increase, or if the the weapon and shooter feel the effect.

Those 130gr loads you have are legitimate 1000yd loads without a doubt, if they're grouping well for you. I wonder what pressures are, but loading long COAL like that will help lower your initial pressure spike.

I need to pick up some 130's and try them from my 28" pipe. I have a couple pounds of CFE already.

I really thought it would be too fast for the heavy bullets, but....those numbers look incredible. Especially considering that is large primer brass!

The increase in recoil is noticeable but not enough to take my aim off target.
