    Picatinny riser help needed

Help.. Standard question I am sure, but my buddy wants to use the Magpul BUIS but they do not work with the low profile gas tube picatinny rail because it's too low..

Can someone suggest a decent riser?? I see one in Sinclair Inter. but at $20 bucks, it is a bit on the steep side..

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.. Thanks all in advance..

Magpul recommends that you not mount the MBUS to a gas block rail, because intense heat and space-age polymers don't seem to mix well for some reason...

    I got a couple of these. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ARR2266-1.html

They are great quality but they are $20 each. Cheaper Than Dirt has a couple for $10 but they don't look like they would be very secure. Unfortunately any decent riser runs from $20-$45 each.
