You care to share what ammo (bullet powder primer) factory or reload and barrel length. Very nice shooting congrats, looks like fun.

A member here posted a link to the 6.8 Forums recently, where the discussion of the Grendel was being had, and how we advocate members to hunt with the Grendel at 800yds. I really wanted to pipe in and say, "That's crazy. We don't tell people who are interested in the Grendel that it's an 800yd hunting cartridge! I would say keep it at 400yds and you'll be fine."

            I stand corrected....

That's an awesome hunting post if I ever saw one! Add 1000 cool guy points for sure. This goes in the record books, as I think you might be the longest Grendel kill hunter out there to-date that I know of dude.

Also, +1 for Mark and Precision Firearms rifles and loads...and a 123gr AMAX at that.

We call that a high shoulder shot, you must have still got some lungs judging by the mouth. Great going and congratulations.

Nice shot - did the bullet pass thru or did you recover it?
