Stanc: these appear to be a target, non-hollow pt bullet. I'm using Barnes tsx for Calif shooting, but not as accurate as Hornady sst.

Do they have any published BC's on those? I've been hoping for a bullet like this for the Grendel for a long time now. We'll have to try some of these out, won't we...I could get a 98gr going pretty fast, even from my 16" Grendel.

I guess one would just have to shoot it on paper with enough of a vertical target to see. I have seen some pretty significant changes in trajectory with the solids in .338 LM, along with insane gains in velocities. The driving bands allow a lot more velocity to be applied to them, since there is less friction with the bore and rifling, but this has always been out of pretty long barrels too (30").

I'll bet the 98gr is somewhere around a .45-.51 G1 BC at 2650-2750 fps, but that's just a guess. I need to order some of these and see what they do. Any ideas on what powders would be best to start with?

Just ordered some...might be able to check them out next month.
