    Largely true.

What I can say is that the gauge appears to be a minimum-size chamber. So, if your cartridge fits in the gauge with the base flush with the gauge, it should work in any spec chamber. It just won't be good for customizing ammunition for your chamber.

Also, if ammunition fitting in the gauge does not fit in the chamber, then you know that some trouble shooting is in order.

So, the gauge is good if you want to check handloads for several rifles, each of which has a unique but otherwise spec., chamber.

The lesson I get from this discussion is that, when ordering a custom barrel, one should automatically request a chamber gauge that gives visibility into the shoulder, neck, and throat so you can easily see where contact points are. One may still need to use marking fluid on occasion because small gaps can be hard to see.

My experience with the Bulberry gauge suggests that getting the right seating depth is a lot easier and faster.

It even helped me trouble shoot a shoulder problem in the 20 Grendel because i could see what was happening. I now know that I have to bump the shoulder back every time even though the Model 16 is a bolt action.

I would be interested. Just starting to get everything together so I can reload.

Interesting proposition. Would they be cut with the same reamer(s) as on the production line?
If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

Do you plan to make a partial section so we can see the shoulder, neck, freebore, and throat?

Pds sent me this PM a week or so ago. Just in the talking stage right now, but I think I would make them similar to this.

                  Adam,
It would be a nice option for Dan to offer one of these gauges for his Grendel barrels. http://www.bullberry.com/reloading_supplies.html. With all the issues with Grendel owners trying to find seating depths on their rifles bet you'd sell a bunch of these.

                  Any chance?

                      Adam,

Thanks for taking Paul's suggestion seriously.

The link is indeed to the chamber I have. The only problem I have with the 6.5 Grendel Chamber Gauge from there is that I can't see the entire throat.

                      Regards

I'll be ordering 2 as soon as they are available along with 2 of the other item we have been talking about.

I'll take one. Let me know if you decide to sell them and I'll send an email to everyone that was in on the group buy.
