    Martini Cadet + 6.5 Grendel ?

Aussies, fill us in , will the Cadet take the pressure, How about the rimless case.
If there is a Gunsmith down under with info let me know. MY o/u 20 gauges wont take the pressure. That Yankee with the 97, doesn't want to build a Custom rifle 6.5 Grendel, custom as in Customer, adds 50 dollars to bolt on left-hand stock.

The Cadet won't take the Grendel at the designed operating pressures and getting one to extract with a rimless cartridge can be difficult, although some gunsmiths reckon it is quite easy - I don't know who to listen to there.

For the most part the 222 sized case can work at starting load pressures, but the fatter case of the Grendel will drop that even further. The problem is partly the action, and partly the size of the barrel shank - it is quite small.

I cannot really suggest another action, although some of the better 20ga shotguns are readily adapted to common rifle cartridges - I suppose it depends on the type of action the 20ga has?

A Ruger No1 or No3 would work fine
