That came out great. What colors did you use, they blend in perfectly? Please post your rifle when you get it completed.

Thanks, I did it myself this past weekend. Used Coyote Tan, Patriot Brown, and Desert Sage in heat cure. I plan on posting when I complete it, but it might not be till May. Waiting on a little extra money for some decent optics.

I saw the Cerekote job today and it really turned out nice. Another friend assembled his 18" 6.5 Grendel using a Brownell's barrel. From the little bit of testing we did today I'd say the 6.5 Grendel Brownell's barrels are GTG. I checked the bolt, firing pin and chamber and all specs are spot on. From today's testing this Grendel will hold it's own for shooting groups.

Hopefully when RAKKASANDAD gets his build finished he'll post pictures for both 6.5 Grendel builds using Brownell's barrels.

A range report would also be nice.

Looks great, did you use the heat cure for your optics or the air cure? I see you did your take down pins, did you have any problem when re-installing them? I learned the hard way where to apply very thin . Great looking rifle, one to be proud of.

Thanks, I used the air cure on the optics. As far as doing the pins I take a dremel to the holes before I Cerakote. Don't take a bunch off just enough so that the pins aren't so tight.

Ya, I like to add something to it to make it unique.
