Wound up in the Horde after I introduced my son to long range shooting with my Remington 700 5R 308. After he tried it and liked it, he did a little looking around and then said "Hey Dad, what about the 6.5 Grendel?"
So here it is. Have only put 50 rounds down range sighting and breaking it in at 100 and 200 yards, but it's got a lot of potential - and it kind of reminds me of one the Navy's new rail guns. It already shoots close to .5 MOA. Hats off to Mark at Precision Firearms for a first class product.
-PF Neptune IV upper with a 24" heavy fluted barrel
-Quentin Defense billet lower with a Timney 3# trigger and Magpul MOE stock
-Vortex 6-24x50 FFP PST in a LaRue mount
