What do you do when your two rifles are pretty far apart in headspace? My scoped stainless 18" needs to be bumped back to 1.218" but the Sabre defense 14.5" has to be bumped back to 1.211" (Which is basically where Hornady factory is..)
That's a pretty big difference... Would you bump for each chamber or jump bump back to 1.211 for both?
Additional info- both bolt faces are recessed to .136" so I can't change bolts and make any difference. My 18" is a stoner barrel that upon fixing the chamber it was lengthened BUT the saami drawing shows the 1.218" to be acceptable... It seems to me that 1.211" is on the short side.
