You could always use the same BCG your other Grendel is using. Then buy another BCG for this build at a later time. You can only shoot one at a time anyways.

Yeah but all I need is a barrel and bolt. I have everything else now. I really would love to have one but just dont want to put that much into a light hunting upper. I really dont need another short upper but I cant help myself. Thanks for the consideration though!

The barrels need to be Bead Blasted before the nitride process. Otherwise they'll come back a glossy black, as I understand it.

I've talked to Mark at PF and he can do that for us and handle the Nitride for us. It'll be $15 a barrel for the bead blasting and an additional $32 for the nitride.

I've sent an email out to the group and most have sent back a reply in favor of this option. So it looks like a go.

If anyone is interested in getting their barrel nitrided, there's room to send it in with our order. Just let me know.

I talked to Dan. They go a pretty busy this winter causing things to take longer than expected, but our barrels should be completed in a few weeks. He sent me the drawings for final approval.

I gave them the thumbs up. Please review them to insure I didn't miss anything.
