    Lc m855

Has anybody got a source for LC head stamped Lake City M855? Or a pulse on where to find it in stock?

Is the Federal LC not stamped LC anymore?

AR-15 shooters save big at Widener's today with .223 and 5.56 ammo for sale. Bulk rounds in-stock now at cheap prices with fast shipping.

I have, but it's all federal.

I thought the federal was FC head stamped. Am I wrong?

If its made at LC for Federal its LC stamped, at least everything I've bought has been. But some of that on the ammoseek site is listed only as LC.

I was told by a buddy that worked for ATK the federal is second line product that didn't meet US goverment spec. Made at the same time on the same machines.

Not to call you crazy, but they must have a pretty sloppy processes to put out that much out of spec ammo.

That's what they have to say since they have the contract to produce ammo for .gov/.mil and can only sell "seconds" to consumers (from a Clinton EO - not sure why this hasn't been removed). The truth is they can call anything a second then put it in a box with an X in front of the name and sell away.
