    Nitride your barrel

So I've been thinking about this and have looked around and can't find a answer. So I'm asking the Horde.

Let's say you buy a barrel send it immediatly off for Nitride. Do you need to, our is there a barrel break in process? Or do you do your normal break in process?
12.5" SBR Grendel - Need Barrel
    Surge - Rugged Suppressor
Been a fan of the Grendel from the very beginning and haven't second guessed that choice one time.

Hopefully the barrel is well lapped before being nitrided. Because once it's nitrided.... that's it. You ain't gonna smooth it out with any normal "break-in" attempt. It will be a very HARD bore.
