You out did yourself with this one. The bullet on the left I have no idea, "is it even a real cartridge"?, The next two look like the 30 Herrett blown out to 50 caliber and the last one is a 50 Beowulf???????????

First and last are right. Middle two, not so much. (Hint, both subsonic) Awesome that you got the .14 Flea, not many know about it. 50-70 brass is much longer than Beowulf brass. Yes, I know I ID'd it as a .50-70 in an old pic, because thats what the parent case was and I was asked not to say more than that. It's been on the market for a while now, so I'm not restricted by that.

5070 in the picture ID doesn't mean anything, one of those weird coincidences!

Of course it would. Sure looks like it, though.

That's interesting. The 50 Whisper was based on the .338 Lapua case, and I wasn't aware that JDJ had done a 50-70 based Whisper. The base case in my phote IS .50-70, and maybe there was parallel development or JDJ bought the company out making the cartridge I saw. I was told it was a .50 Jarrett, but when I Google that, I don't see anything but a video of a guy shooting a rifle. The cartridge I saw was for a Contender handgun.

I guess credit goes to both of you!

I dunno, Bill. I just took a wild guess, Googled ".50-70 Whisper" and those pics came up.

Looking at the 280 Enfield, it looks like the Grendel is slightly scaled down from it.
