    Triggers

I bought a LPK without a FCG since I want a better trigger. If I'm just shooting from the bench what trigger is best suited for this application? Was thinking Timney or CMC?

    Thanks,

    John

If you want adjustable Geissele NAtional MAtch, otherwise Geissele SSA-E.

Love my CMC 3.5# flat. Its right up there with the AR Gold in my opinion. Testing them side by side I can't really tell a difference, but the AR Gold is supposed to have the fastest lock up time. Also the CMC is a flat trigger, which I'm really digging.

I like American Gold and the Geissele SSA-E triggers. Both are outstanding.

+1 for SSA-E. Everything I use has an SSA or SSA-E.

If you like single stage, JP and Timney's are nice.

If you like 2-stage, Geissele is the king of the hill, with several efforts to try to top him.

I have the Timney and Giessele in each my ARs. Off a bench I like the two stage Giessele. The single stage Timney is in the lower I use for hunting. Having to choose one I go with the Giessele but both are great triggers.

I like the AR Gold. Have 5 of them.

I rework them down to 8 oz on the first stage take up, and 1-1/2 lbs breaking.
