Finally broke a dry spell with the grendel.

Broke my dry spell with the killing things today.

It is nice when it works out like you want it to, but calling predators some days seems it is just that, calling and not killing!!

...what did you shoot him with?..bullet that is?
Despite what your momma told you, violence does solve problems.

Nice yote, shot one this afternoon as well. No recovery but he was doing the dance before he got his composure back and left in a hurry. I am confident he is dead dead dead. I just replaced the M 4 handguards on my AR with a carbine length FF tube. I thought it was a nice way to break it in.

Where are you located? It's still plenty warm here in southern Utah and they're still pretty hard to call in. I managed to call one in about a month ago, but he hung up around 500yds and my shot hit the dirt right in front of him. Probably littered his stomach with rocks, and definitely scared the hell out of him haha

I'm in Michigan. This one is number 14 called in since season started in July.
today it was in the low 60's but got colder quickly. We've had 30 degrees weather already

Nice yote. How long did he travel before going down, or was it DRT? Shot placement?

What speed and accuracy do you get from the 95gr V-MAX?

I'll check my load data at home, but accuracy is 1/2 moa. He spun and dropped right there, when I do my part I have yet to have one run off

                      Nice Yote!

I still dream of getting one. I keep hoping to see one during deer season.
