Greetings from the West Coast of the East Coast... Sarasota, Fla.

I've been lurking for awhile and just got my "priviledges" activated.
I have an AA 20" upper that I mounted on a Bushmaster xm-15 lower, and a Vortex 4-16 50 PST scope
    mounted on it.
    Very happy with it.
I swap the 6.5 upper with a 450 BM upper as the case warrants.
Both are very nice and accurate guns.

Looking forward to swapping tales and learning some things.

Welcome aboard. I'm interested in what type of results you are getting with the 450 Bushmaster. Do you hand load for it?

What ranges do you have access to down there?

A nice walk in the woods helps me relax and relieves tension....

The fact I'm dragging a shovel and a body should be irrelevant...

              I don't handload, yet.
I am using only Hornady 250 gr. FTX, at about 2200 fps.

This gun/round, shoots consistently, 1.5 moa, and is very flat out to about 200 yds.
I have it zeroed at 65 yds and out to 200 yds it has a drop of < 3".
After that it drops off very quickly. But it is consistent and totally predictable.
But, as a 200 yd hog gun, it is a pretty much a point and shoot decision.
Much further than 250 and you are shooting rainbows and pushing your luck.

But, I love the 450. It was my favorite until I got the Grendel.
Now I'm waiting for the opportunity to take the Grendel out and see what it can do with a hog. My, guess is, it will do just fine.

Attached is my 6.5 Grendel upper w/4-16x50 Vortex and my 450 Bushmaster with a Vortex 1-4x24 scope.

And welcome from 60 miles east of you. Lots of hog hunting between here and there. And the Grendel works just fine on hogs.

Here in Michgan we have a rifle and shotgun zone for deer hunting. However this year the the shotgun zone had a law passed where you could use a rifle but you had to use a straight walled cartridge 35cal and up case length I believe is 1.1-1.8 so I Haber been thinking about building a wulf or 450bush. So I can use that when I'm not in the rifle zone.

I've seen alot of people say that the 450 shoes flat for 200 yards hmmm

Been a fan of the Grendel from the very beginning and haven't second guessed that choice one time.
