Working up my first loads

Got the second round together. That's a mix of SST and Amax's which coincide with my first test.



I had to take this pic. I am amazed at how much bullet is in the case.

While watching the video of my ladder test, I noticed the bullet trace. I video my ladder tests through my spotting scope to keep up with impacts. Take into account this is only 200 yards. I thought it was cool and wanted to share.

I know! Isn't that cool? I have a few videos like that. I was thinking about trying to borrow a buddies camera and film it the same way. I would imagine a nicer camera than my phone would show more detail.

I finally got out to the range today after a long busy couple of months. I didn't have as good of results as I did the last trip. I am not sure if it was the target I was shooting at or the mirage. I will have to get some of the diamond targets again and redo my tests.


ETA: I just realized I didn't add pics. I'm pretty sure the combination of trying to aim at the corner of the square on the benchrest target and the right to left mirage was my issue.

I have an amax load, and an sst load that Are very close in velocity, and same poi at 100 yards. I plan on taking it to 1000 and comparing poi and maybe seeing if there is a difference in BC.
