Did you get a new gas tube yet?
I would also highly recommend Precision Firearm's Phalanx bolt carriers. They are very slick and smooth, with clean carrier key mouths.NRA Basic, Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, RSO

And then , and then? Rasper-
Best not to buy the el' cheapo deluxo stuff is what I'm seeing, as per after the last 2 years of freakout = after the Sandy hook shooting.
Good to have a many pals on here for advice, product locations for purchases, etc . Junk is on the market guys! Beware,,
Rasp, see any moose this year?
That port should be easily checked- dialed in as per measurements.

And then I torqued the new part in place, staked it and it shoots 1 hole single shot groups all day(24 hrs.) if I do my part(unless I run out of ammo). No but I ate some I was gifted. I cooked it on my smoker it and it was great.

Just gaged my gas port at .101. That's .011 over nominal. Barrel is over gassing. I also checked a back up bbl I got from alexander arms several years ago. The gas port is .093. It is also a rifle gas length. My idea is to take the bhw barrel off. Have the aa barrel cut down to 18 inch and thread the muzzle to 5/8 for my brake. Any suggestions on what to do on the bhw barrel?

Use the Rubber City Armory adjustable gas carrier key bolt carrier, and dial the gas down back there.

I too had this problem, the fault is because you have an 18" barrel with a RLGS, not enough time for the bullet in the barrel to give a proper charge of gas to cycle the system. my barrel has a .093 gas port and adjustable gas block, i tried everything short of drilling gas port out bigger. after installing a light weight buffer and reduced power spring and removing 2 full coils from the spring i got mine to cycle beautifully.
