The History of Using AR Rifles for Hunting

A nice, succinct summary by ammoland: The History of Using AR Rifles for Hunting

It is a very quick read and seems to nicely capture the essentials. Probably good to share with folks who might not feel comfortable with the idea of an AR hunting rifle.

Nicely found JAS. I found the AR setup to fit my needs to a T.++++ Pistol grip, adj. stock., -etc.
Rail setup for optics, Forearm setups, on the rails = wow! It never really ends on the platform..

It just fits the body for a hunting rifle. The adj. stock is the true winner on this-- yet all the controls fit - for use with a gloved finger, or 2.

Ergonomics is King on the AR and the AK is really coming on strong as of late as well, I like both platforms.

Am I missing something? The is almost nothing on the history of ARS as hunting rifles. The is some history, but mostly not about the AR.
