Our general hunting season ends in November. I do plan on getting out and perforating some coyotes.

Dang that's not much of a season, ours goes from mid October to mid January. Bag limit is 2 Bucks and 10 does, although i dont usually shoot more the 3-5 per season. I am glad that they have such a plentiful bag limit.

We'll have to send you some wolves and mountain lions. I have read every excuse why the Elk and deer populations are down and everything gets blamed but wolves and cougars. We have an abundance of mountain lions that need to be severely depleted. I have worked in the woods all my life and I don't need a college genius to tell me why our game animal numbers are so low. Wolves and mountain lions were once considered vermin and were shot on sight. We never had mountain lion attacks on people, in fact a person would be lucky to see one because people would turn them into rugs if given a chance and they knew this. They learned to fear humans. Today they boldly walk up to kids waiting for the bus in town. A little boy was attacked just above my home and my neighbors were stocked by two mountain lions in the same area. They were from out of state and didn't carry a firearm. I had a mountain lion treed next to my home by my German Shepard and golden retriever. Now I'm finding wolf tracks above my home and have Grizzly sightings occurring more and more. Sorry for the rant but this is a sore spot for me.

Here's a picture of recovered projectiles. I had thought I had complete pass thru but on the deer I shot at 250 yards I found these 2 pieces
Anyway per Jim_bobs request I've attached a pic of projectiles and I added a pic of my jerky cooking just because.

Those projectiles appear to have mushroomed well. Thank you for posting the photos. I hope your jerky comes out well!

I did the best I could with a phone camera. The jerky came out great, spicy hot.
