    Game Tally 2014

Hey, guys, just for fun let's keep an annual tally of game taken with your 6.5 Grendel. Paul of "Buck2732" has volunteered to compile an annual tally, so even if you make a post on your hunt, consider also sending him a quick PM on your kill info so he can keep the list updated.
:: 6.5 GRENDEL Deer and Targets :: 6mmARC Targets and Varmints and Deer :: 22 ARC Varmints and Targets

"The hoard", If you could include range and round used, I could included that as well.

Next year I would like to publish the results monthly.

    Many thanks

          (1) 110 lb whitetail doe taken at 53 yards with 123 A-MAX on top of 30.3 gr of CFE. 18" BBL

Hit low behind shoulder and exploded. Both lungs, bottom of Heart, and exit-side shoulder thoroughly destroyed. Bullet fragments found all over wound channel.

20% of deer's total meat wasted, not shooting anymore meat animals with A-MAX. Sorry for ranting, I should have chosen a different bullet though.

It might be worth including overall bullet performance on the tally, maybe a 1-5 (5 being highest) scale judged by the shooter on how well they think the bullet performed on the given target. I'd give the A-MAX a "2" for deer. It died quickly and not far away, but not in a manner I find acceptable for a meat target.

Hi guys! I am interested I ammo used maybe even loads with barrel length if you are willing to share. I finished my grendel one week after our gun hunting season so unfortunately I have nothing to add.
