    Yeah, it's just too heavy for the Grr. We spoke of this last month. It is a good bullet- yet in a .260--6.5 Swede.

    It won't open up as planned at range, at slower speeds.

      We'll see how it works in my bolt gun...I'm not constrained by AR magazine length nor AR pressures. If I can get 2600 fps (like the Hornady 129 IB), then it doesn't hit 1600 fps until 600 yards.

        I've used it in a bolt action .260 rem, and it's a great hunting round. I have it running 2820fps out of a 24" barrel using H4530. The LRX is pretty long for the grendel at ~1.40 (longer than the Lapua Scenar at ~1.30)
