I ended up with a hog as well, but in the excitement, failed to activate the video for that part of the hunt, just a few minutes after getting the coyote. When the excitement was over, I tried to turn of the video, only to hear the recorder start. So the hog at the end of the video is the hog I didn't record. It was about 158 lbs.

That is a VERY good question. As the object falling was dark, it had heat (I was running dark-hot). It fell between the coyote and me. I was shooting through a gap of a tree line wind-break. So my guess is that it is something that fellow out of one of the trees. It very well could have been the poop from a large bird that was scared by the report of the shot and had been roosting in the tree. I dunno. I am just reasoning through what would be elevated, warm, and apt to fall under those conditions. I don't think it was a rat (too small) or mouse (didn't fall fast enough) that might have been in the trees and as cold as it has been, it wasn't apt to have been a bug. So my best guess is bird poop unless somebody else has a better or more realistic suggestion.Kill a hog. Save the planet.
