    Thread protector

I am wanting to try shooting my rifle without the muzzle brake. What would the Horde recommend to protect thread, A flash hider or a plain thread protector? Barrel is a PF Bartlein 720. Accuracy is always #1. John

Klem, thanks for the reply. I was thinking that would be the case but could possibly see a short flash eliminator giving the crown a little extra protection. Main worry is what the longer flash eliminator would do to accuracy. John

PM sent BANG BANG!! I checked the safe and they are flash suppressors, I can send you one if you would like. I got rid of the brake/s already. I thought I got rid of the other. Oh well but if you want one of these they both are 5/8th x24 with the washers just put the washers on and the flash sup. tighten up and your good to go. Let me know if you want one and I will send it your way.
