    Bobcat gets the short stick...

Last night, after a basketball game, a friend asks me if I'm interested in coming and calling his farm. Seems he has a peacock, chicken, kid (baby goat) killer on the loose. Whatever killed the kid ripped out it's throat and left claw marks. Of course I obliged...

I have stopped killing cats normally because I really think they less destructive than some of the other varmints and, even though I'm not at all a cat person, I think they are one of God's most beautiful creatures. However, when a landowner is suspect of them and his livelihood and how he feeds his family is being threatened I'll do whatever he asks of me.

I called this cat in to about 50 yards or so before landing the hammer (123SST Factory) right through his chest and out his spine. He was beautifully colored and I am contemplating learning to tan hides because I cannot afford to send every pretty pred I kill to the taxidermist...

They are beautiful. If they would leave my deer, turkey, quail alone i could live with em.
