    Varget & CFE223

I see guys saying that Varget is too slow but from all the data CFE is slower. I use Varget a lot and so I am going to try it in my 20in BHW .264LBC when I get it finished. I have a bunch of H335 for the 95gr Vmax loads I plan on using but I just gotta think that Varget will work for the 120gr and 123gr bullets. What am I missing here?

Speed wise its fine. The problem is that the granules are too large to get enough powder into the case to get decent velocities. CFE is super fine in comparison.

When they say its too slow, what they really mean is that you can't get decent velocities out of it.

Thanks I was searching and reading some of the others reports. I will run it through the chrono and see what happens.
