            With the lightweight 20 inch barrel sub 5lbs is doable for sure. I got my 22inch barreled one down to 5.5lbs with an MPI ultralight stock.

            Although for the expense you might be better off buying a kimber Montana in a more potent cartridge. Unless you're just doing it for fun - at the end of the day you still only have a howa lol

                20" Barrelled action. Homemade plywood stock. 0.56 oz over the 5 lb limit with scope bases and a 4 round mag.
