    DE,

You say you've used he same brass 4-5 times using the same gun and die (presumably with no problems) so something has changed to that specific case, to cause this to occur.

Look at what could have changed, what you did that was different.

Was it the first case to be reloaded at the time?

If the die is free of the case have you tried sizing and more cases, perhaps without the center stem (don't worry about the primer) t see if they get stuck too.

Forster and Redding are reputable brands.

The only thing I'm going to add to Klem's advice is,
      a) Being 3 yrs in, that's still a novice. I'm 40+ years into reloading and I still learn from the masters.
      b) When you say "I use lee dies because they are cheap and get the job done" bear in mind that for a quality-driven business like reloading, "cheap" will always cost you more, much more. Always.

        D.E:

        Do yourself a favor.

Take the Lee sizing die for the Grendel, put it on an anvil and smash it with a ten pound hammer.

Then buy a set of reloading dies that do not destroy your brass.

Yes -- the Lee dies will overwork your brass and yes, it matters.

The neck part of the die is too narrow and the expander button is too big. So, if you choose to continue using the Lee sizing die, buy more brass because you will go through it at twice the rate of any other sizing die on the market.
