Remember summer loads may not shoot well in November. Where I am is about 106 right now and November can be in the 30s. 70 Degree swing plays havoc on consistency.

I tried those a few years ago. I think you will like what they can do.

What is a 105 KMZ? Sounds like a Howitzer.

What's the consensus on the 105s vs the 118s as far as hog hunting? I've been tempted to experiment with them.

IIRC, both performed well in terms of killing hogs. The 118s were more accurate (1/2" @ 100 yards) for me in my rifle, opened farther, but tended to have the petals break off as a result. The 105s had a reasonable 1" group @ 100 yards, with the petals being shorter and hence not able to open as far. As a result, they tended to remain intact.

Doesn't seem to that much with the 8208. For me anyway.

Last season I used the 100 gr ttsx with aa2460. They performed well on whitetails. Not quite as accurate in my set up, could of been the powder tho. Looks like the mkz should have a little better expansion.

I have been following CavityBack for a while. It seems that they have a significant advantage over most copper alloy bullets at lower velocity. The company claims double caliber expansion down to 1500fps whereas Barnes and Hornady seem to need closer to 2000 fps. FWIW, CavityBack has become the "go-to" bullet for the 6.8 SPC guys and is becoming popular among 300 BO users.
