The most accurate load I've got out of my barrel using CFE with 123SST's has been 31.5 grains CFE with rem 7 1/2 primers.
The COL was 2.242.
I think that may be a max load in my chamber since I cant seat farther out.
The charge might be slightly compressed.
The load shot a little under an inch at 100 in around 20 degree windy weather.
The brass didn't show any pressure signs so it should be good in summer I think.
I got 2475 FPS average at 30.8 grains.
I think the 31.5 load is over 2500 FPS.
That's plenty good enough and not much more can be gained.
I've been reloading a pair of hornady brass to see how long they will last and have shot them at least 10 times and still haven't had the primer pockets get too loose.
I've only shot the 123's and sierra 85's so far.
CFE with the 123's,2230 and H-322 with the 85's.
The 85's have been shooting close to one half inch seated to 2.135.
The 85's seem to like the shorter than average throat.
