The left loves to control people via laws, technology or just talking things to death. None of which works all that well.
As we have seen banning activities or demonizing things works. Banning alcohol did not work. After all alcohol is a technology that is over 5000 years old. And banning guns will not work as firearm technology is over 500 years old. Thus laws have limits and tend to be most for show.
Technology does not either. Too easy to get around barriers. Look at how the AWB was out maneuvered.
And when the left wants to engage in process, talking things to death, everyone ignores them.
