Great minds think alike lol. I've been in conversation with CZ's custom shop and I'm about to employ my local dealer about the same 527 Varmint Target. The custom shop says they are unable to do a Grendel chamber because the trademark has not been officially relinquished, but that a LBC or SAOD are available.
Do you know if your friend's Tikka is a Grendel chamber or if it matters in a bolt gun? Would you prefer one over another? I'm not too familiar with the specs of the SAOD?
