Check this out...I came across this recent innovation from a New Zealand Manufacturer. It is the epitome of modular.
The suppressor is made up of baffles that are independent segments. You add or subtract according to what you need and screw them together to make a working can.
3 choices of base; 11 threads; 5 calibres and you choose the number of baffles. Drop-down menus on a website. Pay with Paypal (they don't export unfortunately!).
Here's a 6-baffle/segment on a Blackout. Equivalent to about $400USD. No paperwork required in NZ.
