    First off, I don't hunt deer and so have no experience with bullet performance in deer. Anything I suggest is therefore suspect in regard to bullet damage.

    I think it would work fine on deer. IIRC correctly, y'all have bigger deer than us. You may not get bullets exiting. TNT often do not exit on hog after 160-180 lbs. So if you want a bullet that exits and produces a good blood trail on a big buck, TNT may not be the right call.

    Also, the TNT is going to come apart into lots of pieces. Meat around the wound channel will be contaminated. Choose your shot locations wisely.
