Latest from Ammo Land. The problem for me is the increase in the cost of practice ammunition, that in most likelihood won't ever be coming down to pre-biden days. The reality of certain individuals in government leaving millions and millions of military grade rounds for terrorist to use in their new Colt M-4 rifles just adds to the insult of knowing tax payers had to pay for it.

That's the big detail I'm certainly curious about!
From what I've read, the permits are for a 24 month duration when issued.
So it all depends on when an importer last applied for a permit. If it was 2 years ago, then their permit is about to expire and won't be renewed. If they got lucky and applied for a permit right before this happened, then it's going to be some time before the permit expires.

In case anyone is interested... Maxim Defense has cases of Yugoslavian (Serbian) 7.62mm x 39 ammo at around $.62 per shot. Looks like good stuff.. better than Russian AK/SKS fodder. Berdan primed brass cases with Range safe, lead cored 124gr bullets. It has corrosive primers so you'll need to clean your guns well after a day at the range. Sold by the case only...

I'm not to worried about it really.
If supply continues(all good) if it doesnt(plenty of brass cases) to load ammo or buy as ammo.
Me owning grendel has never been dependent on if I could get a certain type of ammo. Honestly that's just silly to base ownership on.

this whole thing is turning into a nightmare. this slippery slope has picked up some degrees downhill. as usual, preparation is the word of the day and dont elaborate much with those you dont know.
