Optic and sights for 12" SBR - wganz - 03-22-2017 Got a 12" 6.5 Grendel barrel coming from the group buy. Am going to SBR the AR pistol. Looking at getting the Steiner 1-4 p4xi scope for it. From the reviews, it appears to be the scope that will work from 50 - 500 meters. Adding a set of 45° iron sights for the fun times when you walk up on a boar at 50'. Optic and sights for 12" SBR - rebby - 03-25-2017 It seems that the 2-10x32 range of scopes is more popular on this class of gun than I would have expected. I'm mounting a 2-12x40 VX-6 on my 10.5" build. Love that scope on my other rifles (including my other Grendel's) so it just felt right despite the size/weight. The low 2x power coupled with the fast sight acquisition that you get with the VX-6 make it a great close quarters scope as well.
