They have a light, quick feel. I am an old man but I can appreciate the feel. Wood isn't everything. With Berger 185s, it's a very capable 1000yd cartridge if you have the twist for them. You could work that barrel over hard on snaps and movers training, then re-barrel if you're looking to speed up the re-barreling process. We used to do them with pit monkeys. Movers are moving targets. Those drills tend to compound round count significantly, and are great marksmanship skills to have.
