I built my first one from a Polymer 80 kit.
It was pretty easy and a good experience.
You can avoid jumping through tyrannical hoops.Wink

So, which provision of the 2A are you endorsing, given your newfound understanding of tyranny, Stan? (And please don’t tell me that the word has never been unclear to you. Were this the case, I seriously doubt you would have argued so fervently on the wording or original intended meaning of the 2A.)

Will you be willing to stand and defend your RKBA? If not, then please explain why the (obviously tongue-in-cheek) question about procuring an AR.

Of course not, Stan. Just a political observation on a subject on which your views have been made clear enough. And since you have made it clear that the 2A was not the subject in your OP, you obviously have no need to explain any change of heart.

My mistake. There is clearly no connection between observations on tyranny in one’s government and questions regarding procurements of AR15s or machine guns.

Oh, there absolutely is a connection, but the powers that be have decreed 2A discussions verboten. That is why I declined to answer your questions.

Go on AR15.com EE section. Plenty of sales if you trust someone other than a regular gun manufacturer putting them together. Me, I find deals on complete uppers, lowers, trigger group and pistol brace or regular but stock. Allot of uppers are selling real cheap from the emails I get lately. Get at least 2, get out and get comfortable shooting it and train your spouse (if applicable) . If you don’t reload, figure out what grain bullet works, then start stacking deep.
Would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it!

I was being facetious. I don't really want an AR-15, which is a rifle I dislike, and am physically unable to use, anyway. Smile
