The New Zealand Mosque Shooter Manifesto - Armadillo66 - 03-15-2019

"I chose guns for the attack because I wanted to stir discord in the United States over the 2nd Amendment"

So this Australian POS shot up a Mosque in New Zealand in order to cause a Liberal shitstorm over our 2nd Amendment rights.
Liberal BS Avalanche Warning Issued

My money is on him being set up to do it by Soros and Co. in some manner. New Zealand gun control laws sure are effective and the Mosque was a Gun Free Zone

The New Zealand Mosque Shooter Manifesto - montana - 03-15-2019

In his manifesto, he identified himself as a 28-year-old man born in Australia and listed his white nationalist heroes.

Writing that he had purposely used guns to stir discord in the United States over the Second Amendment’s provision on the right to bear arms, he also declared himself a fascist. “For once, the person that will be called a fascist, is an actual fascist,” he wrote.

A video that was apparently livestreamed by the shooter shows the attack in horrifying detail. The gunman spends more than two minutes inside the mosque spraying terrified worshippers with bullets again and again, sometimes re-firing at people he has already cut down.

He then walks outside to the street, where he shoots at people on the sidewalk. Children’s screams can be heard in the distance as he returns to his car to get another rifle.

All this proves is that it can be a dangerous world in places normally thought to be safe. This also proves gun laws do not stop people from harming those they are determined to harm. Self defense and security are our own responsibility when push comes to shove.

The New Zealand Mosque Shooter Manifesto - AZHTfreak - 03-15-2019

This stinks of a false flag op bought and paid for by Soros. What better way to drown out the Nothing Burger of the Mueller report. As an aside, how much reporting has been done on the Christians being killed in Egypt over the past year-and-a-half by, dare I say, non-Christians. Nothing but crickets...

His manifesto is getting hard to find online. But I did read the entire thing; with a neutral standpoint and to also look into his psychological condition.

Quite harsh in implementation, but if you read the entirety of what he says about the gun banning issue, he does have a good point about what governments are doing.

I don't think the event has any big $ people backing.

Sad to say, I do believe we will see more of these things in the future.

The New Zealand Mosque Shooter Manifesto - Klem - 03-17-2019

Conspiracy theories and 'good points'? What the hell are you people smoking?

He is a worthless murdering psychopath. Everything he did, and touched and wrote is anathema.

My thoughts are with the victims, and the wider NZ community. He gets nothing.

It proves no such thing. He bought the guns legally. http://time.com/5552823/new-zealand-mosque-shooting-gunman-legal-guns/

Unfortunately, what it proves is that if firearms are legal to buy and own, some will be used to shoot people.

Yup.

The New Zealand Mosque Shooter Manifesto - newb - 03-17-2019

If you read things with preconceived ideas and emotions, you will get from them the confirmation of what you already want to see in them and not the entirety of what is in them.

"Won’t your attack result in calls for the removal of gun rights in the New Zealand?
The gun owners of New Zealand are a beaten, miserable bunch of baby boomers, who have long since given up the fight. When was the last time they won increased rights? Their loss was inevitable. I just accelerated things a bit."

And so NZ is again saying they are going to crack down on guns. Not on bad people, not improve mental health help.

Like it or not, he is right and right for our part of the world too.

Maybe there could be, but I sure don't recall us gaining rights back. If we have, we continue to lose more than one or two we may have gotten back. Every time it's not about what are we going to get back, it's to try to not lose more or lessen how many we will lose. I'm all for making sure bad people don't have guns, but we are still not correcting the root problem = stopping bad people.

There is a bad moon rising when government uses the excuse of what a few bad people do, to take away rights and punish law abiding good people. Amazing how well propaganda and manipulation works even in plain sight.

Even black powder rifles won't be safe from future laws.

Doesn't matter how many drunk drivers kill people, they aren't cracking down on cars.....

Which proves the back ground check laws required to purchase a firearm failed and the NZ government is responding exactly the way the psychopath wanted them to respond, by creating more division within the country. Terrorist use the same strategy and unfortunately it usually works.

Yup, "that is a no-brainer" just like trucks, automobiles, base ball bats, hands, feet, air planes, chainsaws, hammers, knives, sex, etc. will be misused by some people.

Welcome back Stan!

Stan / Guys:

Kind of reminds me of Manson and his Helter Skelter manifesto. The exception is that Manson wanted it to be a race war and this guy in NZ wants it to become a civil war. This fellow in NZ is coming a lot closer than Manson did. Primarily because the media hates the thought of private ownership of firearms and today the news is instantaneous when during the Manson years, you saw something on the evening news and a news paper and that was it until the next day.

You guys saying that gun laws don't work are right. They don't work. For a socialist running a country, the solution is simple. You guys in NZ are about to have all of your firearms confiscated. You registered them -- you will lose them.

My understanding is that high-power centrefire semi-auto rifles are now banned. Cops were in the shops on Thursday making sure no more sales occurred.

Primary producers will be permitted to own low-power semi-autos like a 10/22 for humane destruction and pest control. Above 1000-acres and you can apply for a high-power semi-auto (not too many large properties in NZ, maybe 1,000). No more high cap mags so probably 5-rd limited.

Service Rifle competition may be exempt with restrictions. No detail yet.

In NZ the person is registered, not the gun for most firearm classifications. This means how many Cat A (Cat A = California type AR's) guns are out there is anyone's guess. If the buy-back scheme is not generous then likely a portion will simply hang on to their guns and shoot them privately. Unlike Australia where the majority of States knew who had what in 1996 when the National Firearms Act came into effect, after Martin Bryant killed 35 with an AR.

I would put the blame on the NZ government, not the mad dog. The problem has been debated so much it is becoming nauseating. If every right, freedom, privilege, was banned because of a few that have abused them, every person would be restrained in a box with a straight jacket. Beat me to it. Absolutely correct. The perp didn't ban this list of firearms from the law abiding. The government did. Lets see if the gun owners in NZ have the nads to stand up for themselves. The innocent are being persecuted and punished because of the acts of a deranged criminal who admits he did it to get guns banned!

I bet 10 sets of 50 push-ups they do not have the nads to stand.

I doubt any peoples' in the world will. They will only get mad and gripe while doing nothing. The governments keep doing it slowly so at best, only small groups will stand up at a time that are very easy to put down, and then the event will be used to take more of their rights away. No one will throw water on the "wicked witches of the west" in any of the "developed" nations. The good people still have too much to lose, while the people with nothing to lose are brainwashed into thinking the good people are the cause of their problems.

France might be the closest with the yellow vests starting to burn banks, etc.. But they haven't stormed the government buildings and thrown out the problem government officials yet. If they do, I bet again, that the military or even the UN will be sent to "force peace" aka- keep the system in power.

His "admitting to get guns banned" was more the initial response he wanted. His intent was to start a civil war and get the evil rats out of power.... along with restoring the culture and people of each nation to how things were before the unwanted and forced mass immigration of "not the best"' from those various nations. With all of the divide and conquer tactics and agitation going on around the world, it's going to be mass ugliness when the fecal matter does hit the bladed rotating object.

In all of this, not surprising at all that the MSM (aka the matrix) does not raise heck over all of the Christians being killed in various places of the world, for being Christian.

I think I want to sign up to be one of the colonizers of Mars. The psychopath megalomaniacs and the easily deceived sheep masses sure have screwed Earth up.

Probably, but NZ is a different culture to yours. In New Zealand (and Australia) gun ownership is a collective privilege, not an individual right. There is no 2A to embolden the far fewer citizens-per-capita who possess firearms to argue against restrictions. There is a lot less firearm owners can do except voice an opinion and vote for the most supportive political party.

Bear also in mind that NZ and Australia are less individualistic than the US (Ref: Hofstede's Cultural Dimensions). While not as collectivistic as China, NZ citizens are more comfortable subordinating individual freedoms for the greater good. I don't know any shooter in Oz or Kiwiland who does not believe firearms should be restricted in some way. There also appears to be more trust in what the government is trying to do. We have never experienced the heartache of civil war and come from the stock of subjugated convicts...Probably more used to being told what to do! That said, there will be a portion of owners who will lobby, believing if they don't the Government will go even further. Kind of like the accelerator and the brake somewhere between the two you keep to the speed limit for everyone's sake.

I think you will find NZ shooters will not complain as loudly as you think they should. The mood is, something must be done and things cannot be left unchanged to tempt a copycat. Shooters are resigned to a greater degree of restriction, plus they have no choice.

Having everyone walking around armed is never going to happen so restricting access to the types of weapon suited for mass murder is a start (semi auto and hi-cap mags). There is no greater conspiracy happening here. No X-Files, black-ops government push to disarm the public for their own nefarious plans. They just want to keep efficient killing firearms from the hands of nutters. NZ is a rural based country with a strong emphasis on outdoors and primary produce so there will be caveats and exceptions. The anti-gun lobby are not going to have it all their own way.

I agree. This country is a prime example. Americans today tolerate government restrictions and intrusions far exceeding the comparatively paltry issues that caused the Founders to engage in armed rebellion. Anybody who would seriously advocate taking up arms against the government over a tax on tea would now be considered certifiably insane.

Of course. Insurrection is illegal everywhere. See the "Whiskey Rebellion" and the "War for Southern Independence" for examples on how it was dealt with here.

He really wanted to restore New Zealand and Australia to how things were before the unwanted and forced immigration of convicts from Britain??? Wink

LOL. Martian colonies will probably be far more restrictive than what you are likely to ever face on Earth. And since the colonists would have to live and work in pressurized habitats, it seems rather unlikely they'd be allowed to have guns.

New Zealand and Australia have it wrong. According to members of this forum whom I've been admonished know far more than I about the subject, gun ownership is not a privilege; it is an unalienable right that was bestowed upon ALL people by the Creator.

In April 1775, Americans took up arms against British authorities intent on violating the right to keep and bear arms. If Kiwis are unwilling to do whatever is necessary against similar action by their government, they have only themselves to blame for the loss of their guns.

Kiwis, come to your senses! Take up arms and overthrow your Godless government while you still can!

Your comment presumes the majority of NZ citizens are religious relative to those in Government. Also presumes an 'us vs. them' separation of government and people. Neither presumption holds true (obviously). That relegates your comment to an inflammatory remark designed to provoke an argument. If you want a major part of this thread you can have it - I'm not going to argue with you.
