I've been feeling a little edgy about the rapidly approaching election and what effects it will have on 2A.
Dem proposals I have heard range from Aussie style firearms bans, buybacks of semiautos to outright confiscation of AR 15 platform rifles or any other scary looking firearms in the view of the non firearm owning public.
I am quite aware that strong 2A supporting local sheriffs are a critical component to any plans gun grabbers may try to implement.
The often referred to boating accident memes indicate a large segment of the gun owning public will follow a path of non-compliance. One common thought I have often read is to have a cache of a portion of your guns and ammo hidden off ones property.
My reason for this post is to gain some opinions from the horde. If and when a federal confiscation effort were to rear its 2A hating head, what practical strategies have you considered to abscond those efforts by government?

The best course of action is to make sure you vote for the right guy and encourage friends and family to do the same. Now that RBG died today thats another Supreme Court Justice that we can hopefully fill.

Quit voting anyone who is not a staunch supporter of the 2nd amendment. On the left or right!
Im not a Texan but it kills me to hear Rep Dan Crenshaw ® Ex-Navy SEAL, a true war hero and patriot, rationalize the possible need for new red flag laws! IIRC, from a Joe Rogan Podcast, he also seemed a little weak kneed about any civilian needing an AR15 also. With friends like him................

I appreciate the voting advise but I can't quit voting for gungrabbers because I never have.
If you care to re-read my question that is not what I'm asking. I understand some may not want to disclose what strategies I alluded to. No problem.

Two multi term Sheriffs in Southern Indiana just switched from Democrat to Republican party. They stated the Democratic Party not supporting LE was the reason for leaving. I suspect there are a lot of LE professionals in the same situation where the Democratic Party Platform is not the same as previous elections. If you dont hold the party line you dont get any support from other Democrats to a greater degree than with Republicans.
I fear if the 2nd amendment issue isnt handled properly there will be a greater likelihood of violence. Only time will tell if their attempts to out law or confiscate more firearms occurs but elections have consequences. There is a very good chance the left will try to increase the number of judges on SCOTUS and add states to increase the number of blue state senators.

You forgot.....
Give illegal aliens the right to vote.
Drop the voting age to 16.
Once Texas and Florida flips Blue.........and were all most there now.........you can all but forget about having another Republican President.
Oh yeah......and abolish the Electoral College!
