I was watching C-Span with both sessions of Congress certifying the votes.
Protestors stormed the building through a wave of tear gas and flash grenades, chanting USA USA singing the Star Spangled Banner.
Members of Congress hunkered down behind locked doors after emergency recess of Congress in the middle of the votes.

ANTIFA didn't go into the Capital building. If they did, they would have burned and looted and spray painted graffiti all over. That is their M.O.
Nope -- this time I believe it was our side who went in there and I hope to read some of Pelosi's e-mails when they hit the public.
So, last summer I watched as several city blocks of Seattle were given to ANTIFA, Anarchists, and BLM by the white liberal mayor. BLM later left the area. People were accosted, intimidated, robbed, and assaulted. The police were ordered not to respond and they didn't. Two people were shot and killed by a band of armed militia within that area. Both were black men. BLM had some words with the killers but otherwise ignored it. Police trying to get to the crime scene were attacked violently by real mobs of armed radicals so they couldn't do an investigation into either killing. Throughout all of this I did not hear one Democrat say a word. When the Governor was asked about one of the killings and the police being attacked, he said he didn't know anything about it.
Portland has seen probably 300 riots in the last 365 days. All from ANTIFA and Anarchists. They rioted last night. Bet no one here heard a word about it. Not one Democrat is calling them a mob and every riot is termed a 'otherwise peaceful protest'.
Seattle has a riot about once a week. BLM, ANTIFA, Anarchists. One or the other -- doesn't matter. Rioting and looting are seen as kind of a sport now. Not one Democrat has uttered a word. Some are openly supporting the violence.
So, these patriots force their way into the Peoples House (Capital) and demonstrate. I didn't see any looting, vandalism, graffiti. And they are termed a 'violent mob' by Republicans who were in session expressing their disgust with the corruption of the presidential election -- all the while knowing they were going to certify the same votes they were claiming to have been won by fraud.
It's like -- so you are complaining about the obvious corruption yet fully intend on certifying the election? And these guys who entered the Capital building today in protest are considered a mob?

Klem, rigged elections here are a pretty big deal. What kind of machines or ballot process are in use where you live? Are you confident the tally is accurately reflecting the vote? Would you go quietly away or protest if there was massive fraud? Hope you never have to find out.

This is the Nation's Capitol Building in the middle of a time honored, lawful, democratic process of certifying the electors to confirm who is President. The stuff in Portland and Seattle is bad, but this is worse because of where and when it occurred.

37LI, your words are true; however, when the media, those that control all information, are against you and blame you for the crimes being committed by the media's "favorites" what are you to do? Concord and Lexington Greene were peaceful assemblies until the King's soldiers fired upon them. We have come down to the nitty gritty of this whole process dating back many decades when Russia and China placed operatives in our most sacred institutions and no one did anything about it! On another thread, I recounted how some of my college professors openly preached the communist manifesto without any impunity. Where were the "good" citizens then? An acquaintance who taught a class in LE at the local College said that he feared for his safety from the radical professors that kept all conservative ideas under check! Right, wrong, or indifferent, the time to speak up for our freedoms is now before we are not allowed to speak at all!

What I find conspicuously missing from this mass gathering of Trump supporters were attacks by ANTIFA on the peaceful gatherers.
There have been multiple screen shots of ANTIFA messages where they were told to come dressed as Trump supporters with MAGA hats worn backwards.
Now the Democratic Socialists of America/CPUSA members are calling for reprisals against this insurrection.
When DC was lit on fire by BLM/ANTIFA protestors earlier this year, it was a "peaceful protest.
