There was one in Sparks NV at Scheels yesterday at the same price, $549. If not for recently buying at Howa Mini, when I went to look at the Ruger but it had sold, I would of bought the one at Scheels.

I dont but just subtract 2 lbs for the stock from the advertised weight, that should get you in the ballpark.

Ruger says the 6.5 Grendel Ranch weighs 6.1 lbs.
My 5.56 Ranch stock weighs 1 lb 9.6 oz.

Strike industries buffer tube 3.8 oz (awesome buffer tube! my scale rounds to nearest 1/2 so with castle nut says 4.0 oz)
Magpul CTR butt stock 9 oz (mft battlelink minimalist is 6.5 oz but prefer CTR for several reasons)
Magpul moe-k grip 1.8 oz (my scale rounds to nearest half so it says 2.0 oz)
Talley low 1" rings 2.0 oz, Trijicon 3-9x40 Accupoint scope is 13.4 (my scale says the combo is 15.5 oz)
Factory stock is 25 oz, to go chassis you can safely add 1 lb over factory weight, however you then get adjustability to fit anyone, you can make it a take down by loctite the castle nut and you can spin the butt stock off and on to repeatable same spot every time and take down length is then 26 1/4" long. I like the extra weight for shootability and recoil reduction, I shoot mine out to 500 yards maintaining approx. 3/4 moa for 3 shot groups with hornady black. You save a couple ounces by ditching factory rail and using talley rings instead and if you watch your scope weight you'll build these scoped RAR's in chassis for right around 8 1/4 lbs with a 13.5 oz scope in those talley rings (no ammo, no sling). I'm very happy with all these specs such that I built 3 of these, one for me and one each for my two boys. They will never need anything else for all the coyote/big game work we do. You can add light/laser and two point slings easily for defence set up as well, recommend O-light baldr mini or Streamlight TLR-8 on magpul 3 slot m-lok rail (adds 3.0 oz total including rail). As for slings I like the blue force vickers two point, get the quick detach on the rear for spinning off the butt stock, it just button pops into the CTR butt stock, I just thread the front to the chassis and save some weight and rattle of putting another quick detach m-lok up at the front.
