Hello again - kiwi shooter - 02-08-2022
Havent been arround for awhile have been Grendelless for a few years
But recently got back into one
(Ruger ranch)

Are there no exceptions to the semi-auto changes? What about Service Rifle competition, are they given any exemptions, or farmers with property over a certain size? Or is it an entire blanket ban?
I see shops can't post suppressors in the mail anymore. You have to buy them in the shop or fill out a Police form for mail delivery.
One guy wrecks it for everyone, and he wasn't even a Kiwi.

Nah bud they took them all
Even granddads old remington wood master
The service rifle clubs closed over night (some still doing bolt action shoots and rimfire shoots as we can still have ar22s and the like (10 round mag Restriction applies)
Full blanket ban of every Center semi auto rifle with no exceptions
You can have one for pest control but only on a covt contract not easy
You can still have a pistol carbine conversation the (you know the Ones that the regular glock or what have you fits into)
Which I believe is what people are using for 3gun
You need to have a pistol license obviously to own the pistol which isnt easy so ive never bothered having one
I just stick to bolt actions and single shot rifles
So not really affected by the new laws myself but still against them
However theres no point crying over spilt milk
And we just have to get on with life

All gun parts now require a 43a mail order this only used to apply to complete fiearms but now applys to parts aswell
Not a major issue just a trip to the local police station
And normally gets approved witin 24 hours
I got the ruger ranch Grendel and its suppressor shiped
I get rifles shiped Reasonably often so am used to the proses its not hard
Just another little hoop to jump through
