Hi I'm Kenny and I'm a grendaholic. Was looking around the cyber world for a recipe for reloading 6.5 grendel when I came across this site. I llive on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I like guns, knifes, and anything outdoors. I work for a Hydrographic and Creakote applicator. We do many custom guns a year. I just built a Areo Areo Precision lower, McGowan 18" barrel Midwest handgard, areo adjustment gas block, areo bcg, timney 2 stage trigger, Geissele super 42, h2 buffer Magpul ACS, Burris xtr's topped with a Trijicon. Accupoint 2.5 x 10 x 50. ( waiting on a
YHM Resonator R2 to be approved. ) Hope to learn something here.

Welcome aboard. Im also a Grendaholic. I dipped my toes into the water with this cartridge back in 2009, wasnt too impressed with my first results loading for it when looking at velocity from a 16.
Looked around online, came across the forum, and got a lot of great advice from polite gentlemen here, tried some different powders and loads, and things started to change.
I figured it was only good out to about 600yds, when one day out at one of my shooting spots in the West Desert near the SW end of the Salt Lake, some guys challenged me to try to hit a target out at 1200yds.
My ballistics program said 14.4 mils with 123gr A-MAX. I think I maxed out at 12 Mils elevation on my turret, used the reticle for the addition 2.2 mils.
1st round was off the left edge, which I used for my new aiming reference and adjusted, let the next 4 rounds from the mag sail.
I said to myself, I need to look at this more seriously. I was primarily shooting .260 Rem back then for long range work.
I got on our Lilja group buy and ended up with a sweet Wasp profile 18 barrel for a 7lb 12oz scoped build that I have used to rapid-fire a 6rd group at 1000yds that measured 8 vertical, 4 horizontal.
Then Lilja sent me a 23 fluted barrel, and I built several with varying lengths from 16-23.
We did another Group buy with Faxon for some more economical pipes, and I built 2x 12 pistols with those that are way fun.
Got a 10.5 Criterion from Mark at Precision Firearms, and just got another 12 from SixFiveArms.
Maybe its time for an intervention.
