I would like to put out a big thank you to him for such a great product.over the weekend I ordered a hingded Floorplate from him and received it today.this thing is the bees knees, much better than the crappy factory mag system. For anyone out there wondering about him an his products, order without worrie he an his products are good to go.

I just wish that he would make a bolt knob that would work for someone that has larger hands than tinker bell..

My Mini has his CZ bottom metal……is unbelievable

Ordered my hinged bottom metal late Friday night and received it yesterday. He must have processed it and had it ready to go over the weekend because USPS CA to MI takes at least 4 days. The bottom metal and mag box were packaged well and included one of the best instruction sheets I have seen in a long time. The fit and finish are very good. Function is very good. I was able to stuff 5 loaded rounds (last was a tight fit) and then close the bolt stripping the top round for 4 down one in the tube. I also found it easy to load 4, then drop the 5th on top and give it a little down pressure with my left hand fingers while holding the gun and close the bolt on that half loaded round to achieve the same 4+1. More than enough for the hunting I will be doing with this rifle. Loaded rounds feed and ejected properly. Factory Hornady and some 2.250 reloads fit easily in the mag box, which appears to be able to accommodate at least 2.300 oal but I have not confirmed that with loaded rounds yet. The bottom metal also gave my action screws a much more solid feel when torqued. I quit at 25 in/lb with the factory plastic due to the spongy feel and fear of breaking. This bottom metal gave a good feel and tightened up to 40 in/lb easily with no concerns.

Howa/Legacy...should hire him, or at the very least order his stuff, copy it, then pay royalties, what a sad company Legacy is, where's the stainless, where's the good bottom ends? where's the safety knob and single stage trigger? jerks Wink

Agreed. Got his hinged floor plate and it fit like a glove in my B&C. Now I need a light scope and rings. Looking at SWFA SS 2.5-10 ultralight , Leupold VX3-HD 2.5-8, or Swarovski Z3 3-10. This is a hunter.

I'm not trying to spread rumors and cause any issue but I've been hearing this company might not be doing that well. I know the brick & mortar store was closed when I went by, I'm told that is a permanent closure. I was looking for a scope recently as well but I'm concerned about the warranty, if they close up shop. That said, I have 2 of their scopes and they are great for what I paid.

I have several SS 2.5-10 Ultralight. Purchased them all at once on sale for $259 apiece. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t! The glass is fine, so is the reticle, they work fine but, the field of view is really small, tight. Like looking through a straw! Also have the Z3 3-10x42, much nicer everything! Of course its a little heavier and cost more that twice what the SS do but IMO it’s worth every ounce and penny too upgrade! Buy once, cry once!

Edited: apparently, the company line is, they are transitioning from being a full blow retailer of multiple brands to only focusing on selling their own in house brands.

Reading between the lines, that’s another way of saying, we can’t pay our suppliers, so they’re cutting us off. So we’re now circling the wagons for one last stand!

I have a few of his products. I have been very happy with them and am going to order another when they come in stock. I bought my Howa's knowing that the bottom plastic is going away.
