The guy who is spotting (running the course no doubt) was in my Battalion in the 82nd, in our Scout Sniper Platoon. He went to work for Barrett after OIF1, and is a good dude. He was in 18th Airborne Corps LRS before, got out, and then came back in after 9/11 IIRC. He's been running his own long-range shooting courses for years now since leaving Barrett.

I have shot at 1000 while at Whittington and remember almost aiming at the target next to mine to cover a full value wind while shooting a 308. Never a dull moment there. Kevin
