What Brought Me to the Horde

I already posted this pic in the new guy thread but I wanted to show it off again. Hardened Arms was kind enough to supply an 18" upper with a target crown (New Jersey... ugh) and I dropped it into my RRA match rifle lower. A luth AR stock, Leupold V1 3x9 scope in Nikon rings and a Geissele match trigger and its ready for the range. Now if we can just get some decent weather.....

Thanks, So far, I like the stock a lot. I especially like the cheek piece as I hate to have to fight for a view of the scope. The ability to change the length of pull will be convenient when I shift from Ground hogs ( Tee shirt) to Deer (jacket).

Aren't only shotguns legal for hunting in NJ?

Groundhogs in Jersey (80 gr or less for anything over 25 cal) and deer in North Carolina (my yearly get-away). Cant wait..!

Oh cwap! I was thinking the Sierra hollow point was 80 gr and it turns out it is actually 85. Here in Jersey I can't use a 6.5mm on groundhogs with anything heavier then 80 so it looks like the Grendel won't get to play until next November :-(
Does anyone know of any maker that produces an 80gr .264 bullet?

An idea that might work would be to grind a bit of the tip off and weigh it. It might not take much.
