Everyone of us that is a strong supporter of all of our rights ( not just the 2nd even though it's the most important) should sit down and let the elected officials (local, state and federal) know what our feelings are.
If they are inundated with emails and paper then we at least made an effort.
It amazes me that Trump would even consider "red flag" since that is essentially what the libs have done to him since he was sworn in!
I plan on writing them all over the next few days......

It amazes me that you are amazed by Trump's support of "red flag" laws. Trump has repeatedly demonstrated a disregard for the Second Amendment.

Trump supported the Clinton Assault Weapons Ban, ordered the recent ban of bump stocks, and even advocated the taking of guns without due process.

I said that about him when he was elected, better than the alternative but still a wild card. Locally I got tired of everyone thinking the 2nd was totally safe.
